Seven Hills Media Kits & Press Releases
At the Seven Hills Suites, we want you to experience a luxury Tallahassee hotel from the moment you arrive. As of 2019, all renovations on our Tallahassee hotel are completed, and we celebrated our grand opening in December of 2019. We’ve added modern comforts while staying true to the hotel's southern roots. The reception building, a former lodge, is the first jewel you’ll discover as you arrive.
Justin Ford, Pax Hotel Group owner, fell in love with the former Cabot Lodge’s southern charm but had a contemporary modern design in mind when planning out this Tallahassee hotel. Seven Hills’ guests can enjoy a glass of wine or craft beer while sampling from our small bites menu sitting by the fireplace, or perhaps by putting their feet up on the back porch overlooking the new seasonally heated pool, patio, outdoor fireplace, and pergola.
At Seven Hills Suites, you’ll find each room and suite equipped with the modern conveniences you’d expect and personal touches that go far beyond anything you’d expect at a hotel this affordable. From custom-made plantation shutters and wood-plank-style porcelain tile floors to in-house built, hand-painted double-sink vanities, blizzard white quartz countertops, European style kitchenettes with full-sized fridges, and high-end custom Murphy beds in our two-room suites.
Pax Hotel Group is no stranger to acquiring older properties and turning them into award-winning hotels. The Melbourne All Suites Inn, Pax’s first complete renovation, has won the TripAdvisor Award of Excellence every year since opening in 2017 and a Brevard Beautification award. The presenter stated that “[Pax]took a rundown property and transformed the business inside and out . . . giving life” to the property with carefully thought out touches, such as ingeniously irrigated hanging plants, significantly increased green space, stunning design elements, and therapeutic public spaces.
According to owner Justin Ford, one of the distinguishing characteristics of the Pax Hotel Group is that Pax aims to deliver extraordinary experiences to people of ordinary means. “Luxury is no longer only for the rich,” he says. “Look, if you book a room at a luxury hotel for $500 a night, you better get great service and the very best hotel amenities. But when you book a hotel room in the $80 to $120 range, frequently, you’re rolling the dice. Not with Pax. Our goal is to deliver the best hotel rooms and hotel amenities in our price category by far and the best service, bar none.” “The fact is, you shouldn’t have to spend hundreds of dollars a night to be greeted with a genuine smile, expect and receive clean rooms, and feel welcome and at home in a place that is fun, has its personality, and is comfortable.”
The Pax Hotel Group painstakingly invested in every detail so that your stay can be as enjoyable as possible. General Manager Todd Middleton would love to have you join us on one of our personal pre-opening hard hat tours and see for yourself why The Seven Hills Suites may be the next best thing to home.
